Exposing the corruption and abuses done by pastors within evangelical churches in the Philippines

On October 31, 1517 Martin Luther pinned his 95 thesis at the All Saints Church in Wittenberg Germany. In his thesis, Luther outlined his stance against the abusive practices by the Roman Catholic church in selling plenary indulgences, which were certificates which would reduce the temporal punishment for sins committed by the purchaser or their loved ones in purgatory and thus the protestant reformation was born.

Fast forward to the 21st Century and once again, corrupt practice has creeped into churches. Inspired by the Trinity Foundation's now defunct "The Wittenburg Door" a satirical publication that satircal humurous publication that scoofs at the corrupt practice of American evangelical churches, The Wittenburg Door PH (Philippines) embarks on this mission to expose the corruption wtihin evangelical churches.

Most corruption within evangelical churches are swept under the rug and many do not have some sort of external check and balance system or a proper grievance machinery. Before we publish we investigate the scandals. If an information is emailed to us, we verify it first in order to be sure that we will not be used for vengeance or to destroy an innocent individual. If somebody is published here, it means we have done our homework and the said person or institution deserves to be here.

We hope that through this website, we might be able to provide that check and balance and that through our efforts, corruption within the church may be weeded out in order that the church of our Lord Jesus Christ may become spotless and blameless until He returns. Soli Deo Gloria !

This entries here also cannot be removed as this site does not censor content. You will never be able to know the people behind this site. We are a group of concerned believers who use our skill sets to destroy you because of the abuses that you have committed while occupying your sacred office. You will never know us and you can never be able to sue us. For those who have abuse the office of the pastor, we are your worst nightmare.

The Bible says in 1 Timothy 3:1-4 that a pastor must be a good man whose life cannot be spoken against. He must have only one wife, and he must be hard working and thoughtful, orderly, and full of good deeds. He must enjoy having guests in his home and must be a good Bible teacher. He must not be a drinker or quarrelsome, but he must be gentle and kind and not be one who loves money. He must have a well-behaved family, with children who obey quickly and quietly.

The pastors featured in the rogues gallery below are exactly the opposite of the qualifications above. They are sexual predators, lovers of money more, dishonest, no integrity at all and immoral. What is worst about this is that they stand in their pulpits every Sunday and make condemning judgements against the "supposed" sins of their members, the very sins, they have no qualms they themselves keep on committing. None of the entries here are libelous. Every entry here is well researched and backed by evidence. Some these evil pastors are still in office because their scandals has ben swept under the rug. We at the Wittenburg Door wish to rectify this error and this grave injustice.

The corrupt power hungry pastor of Manila - Benny Abante Jul 13th, 2018 [viewed 8471 times]

Bishop Bienvenido Mirando Abante / Benny Abante is the pastor of the Metropolitan Bible Baptist Ekklesia.

He is well known as a power hungry pastor as he has been in politics for several years. Had it not for his defeat he would still be in politics. He has been City councilor and congressman for Metro Manila. He uses his influence among Independent Baptist pastors to further his political cause. Investigation and inside information reveals that he has spent millions in every elections just to win (His spending of millions is also a violation of election laws, something that a pastor should not be doing. Ask yourself, how do you expect can he recoup his investments ? The answer is quite obvious of course)

He is known to be a corrupt politician having spent millions of pesos for his campaign (Ask yourself how he intends to recoup that) Further he has been involved in the KAMPI FUND MESS, a controversy sometime in 2007 wherein politicians were given somewhere from Php200,000.00 to Php 500,000.00 each. When he was given that money he "assumed it was a form of assistance from the administration party" (That big an amount an assitance ??? Picture this he goes to the palace for an official function and somebody whom he does not know allegedly gave him a bag with the said amount. Fr. Panlilio who was also a priest who happens to be a politician was given the said amount but exposed the act right away, it was all over the news because of him but Benny Abante kept his mouth shut for sometime. Now that tells you what kind of person this man is.

Aside from this Bienvenido Mirando Abante / Benny Abante is also known to be somewhat a violent person. He is known to threaten with physical violence people under him. If he gets aggitated with somebody he engages in a conversation with (like what he did to an American pastor who we will not name here) he will shout curses and threaten to hit that someone. He is fond of saying that he will "educate" someone who disagrees with him. Such a haughty man and somebody who is very full of pride and himself.

1 Timothy 3 gives us the qualifications of a Bishop and the Bible says a Bishop must be above reproached, not a lover of money, gentle, not quarrelsome and temperate. Bienvenido Mirando Abante / Benny Abante is clearly not this kind of man and does not deserve to become a Bishop.
